We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.

Who Can Join?

We invite any firm or individual in the death care industry who wants to be part of an organization that is making significant contributions to the education and advancement of cremation to become a member of the Association of California Cremationists.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of the Association of California Cremationists.   ACC members enjoy outstanding annual seminars and workshops focused on industry trends, best operating practices, and marketing issues.  In addition to outstanding programs and speakers we offer an opportunity for fellowship with industry colleagues and suppliers.  Previous seminars have included representatives from the DCA and AQMD, as well as legal and marketing experts.
 
The ACC can also assist in getting a no penalty "compliance review" from the California Department of Consumer Affairs-Cemetery and Funeral Bureau inspectors. 
 
The ACC is pleased to have an acclaimed Crematory Operator Certification Program.  This program brings together industry experts and leaders to train and certify operators in compliance with various state requirements.  Upon passing a written exam following the training, the operator is issued a Certificate of Training from ACC.  Some States, including California (H&S Code 8347) require operator training, and this program fulfills that requirement.

ACC represents your professional interests and works to further the exchange of ideas between industry peers at conferences, educational seminars, and workshops to increase knowledge and enhance job performance.  ACC assists its members to become industry leaders in California.
